New research partner
The Colorado School of Mines will be using MPath for a new gas migration research project.
Colorado School of Mines is using MPath to study the processes by which gas fills the large tight‐gas‐sand reservoirs of the Rocky Mountains and the degree of internal communication in these reservoirs. This research will lead to new models for predicting the top of gas in these reservoirs, the composition of the gas, the validity of basin‐centered gas models and the degree of communication between different stratigraphic levels and different fault compartments within reservoirs.

MPath adds native Gocad support
Permedia has added support for files in Gocad's native ASCII format to MPath.
Creating MPath models from Gocad voxet volumes, or inserting Gocad TSurf surfaces into MPath models as faults is now as simple as selecting the file in a dialog box. Or you can use Gocad wells to verify the goodness of fit of MPath simulation results using Correlation, or to compare properties along multiple well paths using Well Viewer. Visualizing Gocad data in any scene is as simple as dragging the object into the scene in 3D Viewer. |
